Arena Construction & Renovation

Building a new riding arena or improving an existing ring starts with how you plan to use it. I handle arena construction, renovation, grading and site preparation for equestrian properties.

Work I Take On

New arena construction

Site preparation, earthwork and grading for a new riding area. The layout and scope start with your intended riding use, the size you have in mind and what the site allows.

Arena renovation

Regrading and reshaping an existing ring, correcting uneven areas and working through problems with the base, surface or surrounding ground.

Grading & site preparation

Preparing the ground, moving material and improving equipment access. I look at the arena together with nearby slopes, drainage, barn areas and access lanes.

Start With How You Want to Ride

Tell me whether the arena is for schooling, lessons, jumping or another use, and what is working—or needs to change—at your property.

I’ll look at the ground, grade, drainage and access, along with the existing base and footing if there is one. The work and materials need to fit both the riding use and the site.

What Happens Next

The arena inquiry asks for your property location, what you’re planning, intended riding use, approximate dimensions and timing. Add photos of the arena or planned site and equipment access if you have them.

I’ll review what you send and get back to you about the next step.
